Prof. Manoj Kumar Panda

Prof. Manoj Kumar Panda is currently working as Director of VMSBUTU Campus Institute, Women Institute of Technology, Dehradun, Uttarakhand and he has also been as Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, G. B. Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pauri, Uttarakhand since December 2015.
He did Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar in year 1998, Masters of Control & Instrumentation from MNNIT Allahabad in year 2002 and Doctorate in Power & Control, from Electronics & Communication Engineering from IIT Roorkee in the year 2014.
He has published more than fifty research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings and two Indian patents. He has participated in various summer/winter industries/training/workshops. He has also attended various conference/workshop in India & abroad.
He has guided 03 Ph.D candidates and presently supervising 03 scholars.
He is a senior member of IEEE and fellow of IEI.

Additional and various responsibilities have been assigned as under:

• State Project Administrator (SPA) at State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), a unit of MHRD Govt. of India for Implementation of TEQIP-III projects in deputation at Dehradun from Oct 2018 to Sept 2021.
• Expert Member of National Board of Accreditations (NBA) of MoE, Govt. of India.
• Member of BoS, Electrical Engineering of VMSBUTU, Dehradun, HNBGU Srinagar, MJPRU Barelley and COE Roorkee.
• Inspection Committee Chairman and member of VMSBUTU, Dehradun.
• Faculty Incharge, Training & Placement at GBPIET Pauri.
• Member of BOG, GBPIET Pauri.
• Reviewer of reputed Peer reviewed journals.
• Ph.D. Coordinator of VMSBUTU, Dehradun.
