It gives me an immense pleasure and great pride to welcome you to the creative world of Women Institute of Technology, a constitute college of Uttarakhand Technical University situated in calm, serene and nature friendly environment of Dehradun. WIT has a very ecofriendly campus having state-of-the-art infrastructure. We have modern and well equipped labs, workshops and library to support students in achieving perfect standards in academics, research and professional skills. The campus has proper and adequate sports infrastructure and medical facilities to take care of girls coming from every strata of society with special needs. WIT is an educational institution for women who aim to achieve excellence in academics and other co-curricular activities for their all round development empowering then in every aspect of life.
Our motive is to create better human beings with values which are embedded for life. We aim to instill an overall development that nourishes them towards becoming strong and selfreliant individuals. Since its inception our foremost goal is to provide an environment to budding women engineers that develops them into self confident, motivated and optimistic individuals in this era of globalization.
Our dedicated faculty and staff provides congenial environment to recognize and putforth their special talents. Along with academics, we frequently expose our every student to practical world. Extra curricular activities, placement drives, seminars, workshops, projects, presentation, expert lectures, personality development session, industrial visits, mental toughening, sports meet etc. are the integral part of technical education in this institution which helps in holistic development for these aspiring girls.
